I am pleased to announce that Blue Horse clothing will open its archive in the form of workshops and coaching for fashion schools or brands. 

With knowledge spreading over 20 years and a unique collection of historical garments

 

have a vast selection of original clothing to help students learn about the dress coat during different debates throughout the last century.

By showing the actual garment creates a huge understanding on how historical garment manufacturing worked. To breake away from the traditional teaching methods creates a much more emersive experience for the students. 

 

I offer several pre prepared courses that we carefully curated. We provide museum quality garments together with a modern media presentation of high resolution pictures as well as historic fabrics and accessories. I work close to your individual curriculum and can adjust our presentation accordingly. 

 

1: Militäry garments 

This workshop will give you an in-depth analysis on how military garments throughout the last century shaped modern clothing, with a focus on US military flight jackets as well as an in-depth analysis of the field jacket. 

 

2: Girogio Armani x Gianni Versace (the Renessains of the Italien dressmaker)

Two of the most influential designers of the last Century.  The legacy of Giorgio Armani and Gianni Versace  still defines fashion today. This workshop will give you an in-depth view into the work and vision and how  they both influenced varies subcultures.

 

3: Fashion in the 20th Century

This two part workshop will give you a comprehensive overview of the fashion and cultural influences spreading over the last century. 

 

 Very few countries ever had such a cultural and fashion impact on our modern life. This workshop guides you step by step through the mindblowing fashion of last century.

 

4: What is Vintage

How do we define vintage in our fast moving world, and what inner desires and feelings does vintage fashion fulfill within the individual. This Workshop will give a complet analysis on what the definition of vintage is, from historic manufacturing prosesset to details examples of labeling and other decade defining processes. It will also focus on the modern emotional appeal of vintage as a lifestyle the then future of vintage as an aspect of the fashion world.  

 

5: British Subculture / PUNK etc.

Very view Subculture had more impact on the way we dress ourselves nowadays than the various British subcultures of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. This workshop explores the huge diversity and innovation within various British subculture of the last century and its legacy and effect on current fashion.

 

6: History of sportswear

What once were purely functional garments intended for physical activity, now has a huge array of different purposes and meanings. In this workshop we explore the history of sport garments from the early 1900s to the athleisure wear of today and ask the question on how did a tracksuit replaced formal office attire
